  Just been into Riverlink Ipswich Store.
  Had to return and replace the wrong shampoo!
  Went to customer service the lady said that’s fine just do your shopping come back when you finish and exchange shampoo, she kept the old one and receipt. I did this…waited, waited, waited and was ignored some more, eventually John who quite clearly was having a bad day came up, wouldn’t exchange the shampoo because the old one and receipt was no longer there behind the counter, then rudely continued to accuse me for stealing shampoo!!!
  I understand that staff are frustrated because Woolworths management keep the place lean and understaffed, but please don’t take it out of the customers! Remember we pay your wages and also do half your job scanning our own shopping….

  Average experience. Bought a pack of chips for $4.80. Wanted to return them a few hours later with a receipt. Was told I can't due to people "bulk buying" during the start of the pandemic. The start of the pandemic was over 3 years ago. It was one bag of chips. Hardly a bulk purchase. What it probably is, is a company jealously trying to horde the profits it has made from the outset of the pandemic. I have been a member of woolies rewards for years. Won't be shopping at woolies anymore. Hope hanging on til $4.80 was worth it. Coles has a change of mind refund policy. Looks like your competitor will be getting my buisness from now on.

  Bigger range than some of the smaller suburban stores. Fantastic staff.

  Was given a $50 gift card by my work, went to use it to buy tobacco, was told by a girl with big drawn on eyebrows "it says here you can't use it for tobacco, groceries only" I knew she was lying as I read the back of the cards terms and conditions already and it doesn't state that at all, doesn't even mention tobacco products.. Went to another Woolworths and surprise surprise I was able to use it there. Plus if it's ok to use at dan Murphys or bws for alcohol why not tobacco? Either the store fails at training and knowledge of products or she just couldn't be bothered. Either way, wasn't a waste of my time driving as I've found a new Woolworth's worth going to from now on.
