- Geoff Shaw Added June 20, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★Our dear friend passed away at Ipswich Hospice Care recently and she always expressed how blessed she felt to be cared for there. Although some things in the building need updating or prettying up, the care given by staff and volunteers is wonderful. We loved being able to visit at any time and see our friend so appreciative of all that was being done for her. If you're looking for somewhere to kindly donate, please consider Ipswich Hospice, they need extra rooms so more people can have a more homely environment to see out their last weeks/months. Instead of hospital walls/curtains, patients look out their own large windows to gardens/trees/park and hear a vast array of birds singing. They can open up their doors/windows to fresh air or control their own air conditioner for their own comfort. Each room has it's own bathroom for privacy and convenience. Fresh food is prepared and cooked for each meal and patients can even have visits from their beloved pets. Thank you Ipswich Hospice!
